Why parroteducation.com?
As a kid I knew nothing about proper care for pets - any pets. The adults in my life knew very little and passed on to me what they knew, much of which was misinformation. As I learned about better ways to care for my pets, I was able to offer them a better quality of life and my relationship with them blossomed into a partnership. I developed unique bonds with each of the animals I cared for and grew to appreciate them as individuals. This was especially true when I started to learn about animal behavior and applied behavior science.
I became increasingly passionate about educating others so they too could improve the lives of their pets, especially parrots. I truly believe that most parrot owners want to give their birds the best care possible, but many do not know how.
